Responsibilities

• Client onboarding and document collection.
• Follow up with clients to ensure timely submission of necessary documents.
• Manage internal workflows related to tax preparation.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Engage with high-value clients to optimize their account setups.
• Lead and support a team in tax-related tasks using Uplinq's technology solutions.
• Onboard companies to a ready state for tax preparation.
• Communicate intricate tax and accounting data clearly to clients.

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax preparation experience, preferably with multi-client exposure.
• Active CPA or EA certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related fields preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Windows operating system.
• Experience with QBO and Drake software.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex tax information.
• Robust problem-solving skills to handle complex workflows.
