About the position

The Tax Operations Coordinator role is a temporary, remote position focused on customer outreach to assist in the collection of missing tax deliverables from new customers after they have started using Payroll services. This position is crucial for improving filing success and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to new customers to identify and collect missing tax documents.
  • Process mass and individualized communications to notify customers of their missing data.
  • Educate customers on the potential consequences of failing to submit required documents.
  • Guide customers through the process of obtaining necessary tax information using tax agency websites.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline communication and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with customer service.
  • Knowledge of tax documentation is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Experience in customer service or outreach roles is preferred.
