About the position

The Tax Operations Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing US federal international income tax reporting and compliance operations. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of various tax forms and ensuring accurate data management and reporting processes. The position requires strong analytical skills and a focus on process improvements through collaboration with the Tax Technology team.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain master data and mapping tables used for modeling and calculation processes.
• Create and update formulaic review solutions and analytical review dashboards.
• Maintain and roll over file import calculations.
• Prepare or review calculation models for various schedules of Forms 5471/8858.
• Drive process improvements and collaborate with the Tax Technology team to streamline and automate recurring calculations.
• Oversee data extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes from source models to tax return forms for GILTI, E&P, Subpart F, Foreign Tax Credits, and various other calculations for Forms 5471/8858.
• Document direct tax reporting obligations by creating and/or reviewing audit-ready workpapers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
• Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• Knowledge of at least one data-focused technology tool, such as Python, SQL, Alteryx, Amazon QuickSight, or similar.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced international compliance software skills including Corptax and/or Tax Series (“tti”)
• Direct tax experience including relevant experience with international income tax compliance/reporting
• Tax operational background and ability to drive process improvements.
