About the position

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Partner for its real estate private equity team in New York. This role involves both new business development and servicing existing clients in a compliance and consulting capacity. The Tax Partner will also engage in thought leadership, technology initiatives, and staff development, contributing to the firm's growth and innovation in tax solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform partner level compliance review and tax return signoff
• Handle client consultations on planning opportunities and changes in tax law
• Work on proposals and assist in developing new business
• Meet prospective clients and develop relationships with new and existing clients
• Expand services to existing clients
• Supervise engagements and special projects undertaken by the firm
• Oversee all aspects of the client engagement
• Supervise, train and evaluate advanced level staff
• Coach, mentor and assist staff to develop and grow the tax function
• Maintain knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends affecting clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
• CPA or JD
• 15+ years of progressive tax experience
• 2+ years as a Partner or Director at a public accounting firm
• 10+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
• Experience working with real estate private equity clients is required
• Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
• Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business
