Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic tax planning, structuring, and due diligence for clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex transactions.
  • Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables aligned with client objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering forward-thinking solutions to mitigate risks and maximize transaction value.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional advisory services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including audit and consulting, to deliver seamless client service.
  • Stay ahead of evolving tax regulations and transaction trends to provide cutting-edge insights and advice.
  • Mentor and develop a team of professionals, building a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the growth of the TAS practice through business development, networking, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a professional services firm, with a focus on tax advisory for transactions.
  • Deep knowledge of M&A tax regulations, transaction structuring, and due diligence processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex client engagements and teams.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and sustain client relationships.
  • Track record of successful business development and growth initiatives.
