About the position

The Accountant/Tax Preparer position at a well-established Certified Public Accounting firm involves preparing corporate and individual tax returns. This role is part-time, seasonal, and requires in-person work, focusing on candidates with significant public accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate tax returns (1120/1120S/1065) and individual tax returns.
• Assist in the preparation of estate, trust, and not-for-profit tax returns as needed.
• Utilize Ultra Tax software for tax preparation tasks.

Requirements

• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience working for an accounting firm or tax preparation company.
• Senior level tax experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience preparing estate and trust tax returns.
• Experience with not-for-profit tax returns.
• Familiarity with Ultra Tax software.
