About the position

Irwin Bozzuto & Associates P.C., a CPA firm with a growing practice, is seeking an experienced Tax Preparer/Accountant to join our team. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing for flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of our clients and our staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, specifically in the areas of individual, corporate, partnership, trust, nonprofit, and payroll tax returns. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Online, as these tools are essential for preparing client workpapers and tax returns. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of various tax returns, including individual, partnership, trust, and corporate tax returns. You will also handle the preparation of quarterly and annual payroll returns. The position is permanent, and we are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience in tax accounting and has a solid understanding of the tax preparation process. While a CPA designation is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. We value experience and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner. Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and tax preparation.

Nice-to-haves
