About the position

JDA TSG is seeking Seasonal Tax Preparers, specifically Enrolled Agents (EA) or Certified Public Accountants (CPA), to join their Tax Services Group for the upcoming tax season. This role offers flexible part-time hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a professional office environment. The position is ideal for individuals with prior tax preparation experience who enjoy assisting clients with their tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer support by assisting customers in preparing their income tax returns on-site.
• Create an excellent customer experience using expertise in tax preparation and technical ability.
• Resolve customer problems in a friendly manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Document all customer interactions carefully.

Requirements

• Active PTIN and Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• 2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax preparation software in a professional/retail setting.
• Strong technical skills and ability to navigate computer systems and software, including professional tax software.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of TurboTax is strongly preferred.
