About the position
JDA TSG is seeking Seasonal Tax Preparers, specifically Enrolled Agents (EA) or Certified Public Accountants (CPA), to join their Tax Services Group for the upcoming tax season. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a professional office environment, providing tax preparation services to clients. The position is ideal for individuals with prior tax preparation experience who enjoy customer interaction and are looking for part-time or full-time work from mid-January through April 16, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer support, assisting customers in preparing their income tax returns on site.
- Create an excellent customer experience using expertise in tax preparation and technical ability.
- Resolve customer problems in a friendly manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Document all customer interactions carefully.
Requirements
- Active PTIN and Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
- 2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax preparation software in a professional/retail setting.
- Strong technical skills and ability to navigate computer systems and software, including professional tax software.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of TurboTax is strongly preferred.
