About the position

JDA TSG is seeking Seasonal Tax Preparers, specifically Enrolled Agents (EA) or Certified Public Accountants (CPA), to assist clients in preparing their income tax returns. This part-time, seasonal role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a professional office environment. The position is ideal for individuals with prior tax preparation experience who enjoy customer service and are looking for supplemental income during the tax season.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer support by assisting customers in preparing their income tax returns on site.
• Create an excellent customer experience using expertise in tax preparation and technical ability.
• Resolve customer problems in a friendly manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Carefully document all customer interactions.

Requirements

• Active PTIN and Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• 2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax preparation software in a professional/retail setting.
• Strong technical skills and ability to navigate computer systems and software, including professional tax software.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of TurboTax is strongly preferred.
