About the position

JDA TSG is seeking Seasonal Tax Preparers, specifically Enrolled Agents (EA) or Certified Public Accountants (CPA), to join their Tax Services Group for the upcoming tax season. This role involves providing exceptional customer support in preparing income tax returns, ensuring a positive customer experience, and resolving any issues that arise. The position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and opportunities for professional growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer support by assisting customers in preparing their income tax returns on site.
• Create an excellent customer experience using expertise in tax preparation and technical ability.
• Follow a script to guide responses and ensure consistency in customer interactions.
• Resolve customer problems in a friendly manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Document all customer interactions carefully.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax preparation software in a professional/retail setting.
• Strong technical skills and ability to navigate computer systems and software, including professional tax software.
• An active PTIN and either an Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of TurboTax is strongly preferred.
