About the position

JDA TSG is seeking Seasonal Tax Preparers, specifically Enrolled Agents (EA) or Certified Public Accountants (CPA), to join their Tax Services Group for the upcoming tax season. This role offers flexible schedules and the opportunity to work in a professional office environment, providing excellent customer support while preparing income tax returns. The position is ideal for individuals with prior tax preparation experience who enjoy helping clients and are looking for a part-time commitment during the tax season.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer support by assisting customers in preparing their income tax returns on-site.
• Create an excellent customer experience using expertise in tax preparation and technical ability.
• Resolve customer problems in a friendly manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Carefully document all customer interactions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax preparation software in a professional/retail setting.
• Strong technical skills and ability to navigate computer systems and software, including professional tax software.
• Active PTIN and either Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of TurboTax is strongly preferred.
