About the position

JDA TSG is seeking Seasonal Tax Preparers, specifically Enrolled Agents (EA) or Certified Public Accountants (CPA), to join their Tax Services Group for the upcoming tax season. This role involves providing exceptional customer support in preparing income tax returns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while working in a professional office environment. The position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer support by assisting customers in preparing their income tax returns on-site.
• Create an excellent customer experience using expertise in tax preparation and technical ability.
• Resolve customer problems in a friendly manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Carefully document all customer interactions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax preparation software in a professional/retail setting.
• Strong technical skills and ability to navigate computer systems and software, including professional tax software.
• An active PTIN and Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license are required.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of TurboTax is strongly preferred.
