About the position
Intuit is seeking Tax Associates for the upcoming tax season, offering a fully remote position for individuals with at least 2 years of paid tax experience. The role involves assisting clients with tax preparation using Intuit TurboTax products, providing tax advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. Tax Associates will work collaboratively with a team while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
- Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
- Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
- Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate information to customers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional manner.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with commercial tax preparation software.
- Possession of related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
