About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Associates for the upcoming tax season, offering a fully remote position for individuals with at least 2 years of paid tax experience. The role involves assisting clients with tax preparation using TurboTax products, providing tax advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. This position allows for flexible work hours while collaborating with a dedicated team from home.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate information to customers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional manner.
• Dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with commercial tax preparation software.
• State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds related to tax preparation.
