About The Position

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
  • Knowledge and experience in using ADP - Financial Services for payroll and tax processes.
  • Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx for comprehensive tax compliance and productivity management.
  • Ability to use CCH Sales Tax to manage complex sales tax processes.
  • Experience with Drake Tax Software for tax preparation and document management.
  • Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions to support the financial health of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Allowances to assist clients in tax planning and saving.
  • Strong Customer Service skills to provide excellent service to clients and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Proficient in Data Entry to ensure accurate and timely entry of tax-related information.
  • Understanding of Deductible to provide clients with effective tax strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize accounting software systems such as AlterTax, TaxDomo, and Excel to streamline tax preparation processes.
  • Prepare and assemble tax documents for a diverse clientele, including a significant number of clergy.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to address inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage ADP financial services and other accounting functions to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Use CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax, as well as Drake Tax Software, to optimize tax preparation and tax-related activities.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client data and transactions.
  • Apply knowledge of allowances and deductions to maximize client tax benefits.
  • Handle data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Review and clear notes to ensure all tax-related documentation is accurate and comprehensive.
