As a Tax Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax laws while providing valuable insights to clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax regulations and changes in securities law that may impact clients.
• Assist clients with account reconciliation and provide guidance on debits and credits related to their financial statements.
• Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive financial plans that align with their goals while adhering to GAAP standards.
• Analyze complex financial data to provide insights into tax liabilities and potential deductions.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations, offering clear explanations of tax strategies and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in tax accounting or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software is essential.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
