About the position
Zappitelli Financial Services is seeking a professional and client-focused Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to assist clients with tax-related inquiries during tax season. This role requires a solid background in income tax and involves both full-time work during tax season and part-time work in the off-season. The position emphasizes exceptional client service and efficient office management.
Responsibilities
- Be the welcoming first point of contact for clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience
- Answer and direct phone inquiries, providing courteous and knowledgeable service
- Assist clients with tax-related questions, using knowledge of income tax processes and terminology
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars to maintain efficient client flow during peak seasons
- Handle administrative tasks including data entry, document proofreading, filing, and office supply management
- Maintain an organized and client-ready front desk area at all times
Requirements
- Experience in an administrative or office role; experience in a financial or tax environment is highly preferred
- Background in income tax, with familiarity with tax processes to support client needs
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills, especially during high-demand periods
- Attention to detail with excellent data entry and proofreading skills
