The Tax Senior will collaborate closely with the Tax Manager and other team members to ensure that all tax returns are prepared accurately and submitted in a timely manner, adhering to all compliance requirements. This role is not only about technical expertise but also involves significant client interaction, requiring the Tax Senior to communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and address any inquiries they may have regarding their tax situations. In addition to preparing and reviewing tax returns, the Tax Senior will provide valuable tax planning and consulting services, helping clients optimize their tax positions. This includes researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations to ensure that clients are informed of their obligations and opportunities. The role also involves assisting with tax audits and responding to notices from tax authorities, which requires a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills. As a senior member of the team, this position will also involve supervising and mentoring junior tax staff, fostering their development and ensuring that they are equipped to handle their responsibilities effectively. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Tax Senior will work with other departments, such as accounting and IT, to provide integrated tax solutions that meet the needs of clients. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • CPA certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
