Responsibilities

• Preparation of US individual income tax returns for Japanese clients
• Drafting response letters to tax notices
• Conducting computer-based tax research
• Corresponding with clients regarding questions and issues
• Communicating proactively with clients and responding to their requests
• Performing payroll gross up work
• Demonstrating verbal and written communication skills
• Managing multiple concurrent projects with accurate planning and goal setting
• Developing long-term constructive relationships in the workplace
• Participating in regular vocational training
• Maintaining and developing knowledge in U.S. personal tax

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or MBA in a field related to accounting
• Bilingual in Japanese and English
• Mid-level experience in tax preparation
• Strong communication skills
• TOEIC score of 700 or higher
• A valid CPA license is a plus but not required
