As a Tax Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing tax engagements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing insightful analysis and reporting of financial data. You will work closely with clients, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to travel to client sites. Responsibilities

  • Oversee tax engagements and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Provide insightful analysis and reporting of financial data to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding tax-related matters.
  • Mentor and support junior staff in their professional development.
  • Travel to client sites as needed to provide on-site support and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and regulations impacting engagements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks; familiar with Thomson Reuters software.
  • Detail-oriented and self-starter with excellent computer and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with tax software and tools beyond QuickBooks and Thomson Reuters.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a public accounting environment.
