About the position
The Tax Supervisor position at GPAC involves overseeing tax preparation and review for various tax returns, including 1040, 1041, Estates, 1120, 1120S, and 1065. This role is designed for experienced professionals in public accounting, offering a hybrid work environment with flexibility and opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities
- Prep and review of 1040, 1041, Estates, 1120, 1120S, 1065 tax returns
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines
- Maintain client relationships and provide excellent customer service
- Assist in the development of tax strategies for clients
- Stay updated on tax law changes and implications for clients
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting
- Bachelor's Degree required
- CPA eligible, pursuing CPA (preferred) or EA
- Experience with CCH Axcess & ProSystems (required)
- Generalist background with a wide variety of industries
