About the position

The Tax Technology and Transformation Manager will play a crucial role in supporting cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiencies and delivering innovative technology solutions within the Corporate Tax Department. This individual contributor position requires a blend of technical tax, accounting, and process/technology skills, with a focus on driving technical process improvements and transformation initiatives that impact tax operations. The role involves collaboration with various teams to support tax-specific projects and broader finance projects, including an ERP system upgrade to SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional tax projects and initiatives, including ledger system upgrade (S/4HANA).
• Proactively identify opportunities and drive process improvements across Corporate Tax.
• Identify opportunities to increase automation and enhance digital analytics and data quality.
• Support initiatives to build out modeling capabilities for tax impacts of forecasts and new legislation.
• Manage tax transformation projects to ensure timelines are met and objectives achieved.
• Gain knowledge of the business and understand tax positions and their implications on data and processes.
• Support maintenance of tax-basis ledger, tax data, and core account structures.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to tax team members on tax technology and transformation matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, and/or Management Information Systems.
• 7+ years of tax accounting experience (public accounting or large company).
• 2+ years of experience with tax provision and compliance software such as CorpTax.

Nice-to-haves

• CPA or MST highly desirable.
• Experience with ERPs such as SAP and ERP system implementations.
• Strong understanding of tax systems, data flow, and interfaces.
• Experience with emerging technology solutions (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Experience with both domestic and international provision and compliance tools.
