About the position

The Frame Designer position at Arhaus involves designing furniture frames, with a focus on developing frames for furniture manufacturing and repairing existing frames. The role requires collaboration with CAD drawers to assist in the development of frames and frame files, as well as documenting spring up and notes. The position is based in a heated and cooled typical office environment and reports to the Product Development Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop frames for furniture manufacturing.
• Repair furniture frames.
• Help CAD drawers in the development of frames and frame files.
• Document spring up and notes.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• 5+ years frame development experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must understand furniture construction.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read a ruler.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must be a Team Player.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Must be reliable.
• Must be able to sit/stand/walk up to 9 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe/close-heel shoes when required.
• Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in Furniture Manufacturing is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years related experience.
