About the position

The Machine Bundler is responsible for accurately bundling cut pieces of fabric and leather from the cutting machine operation. This role involves ensuring that the bundles are correctly labeled and tagged before being transported to the Sewing department. The position requires the ability to cut denim as needed and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Responsibilities

• Accurately put cut pieces of fabric/leather from cutting machines together into a bundle.
• Correctly label and tag each bundle.
• Carry/push bundles to the Sewing department.
• Cut denim as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

• Manufacturing Experience.
• Must be able to read a production ticket.
• Must have good vision.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to work safely with a variety of cutting supplies.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be a Team Player with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must have your own reliable transportation.
• Must be able to stand/walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Must be reliable.
• Must have strong skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, writing, and communication.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in furniture manufacturing preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
