The Champaign Unit 4 School District is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals for the position of TBE (Spanish-English) Teacher. This role is crucial in positively transforming learning and life outcomes for students through educational justice, equity, and excellence. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality bilingual education to students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes academic success and personal growth. The teachers will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community to ensure that all students have access to the resources and support they need to thrive. In this position, teachers will be expected to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students, assess student progress, and adjust instruction accordingly. They will also participate in professional development opportunities to enhance their teaching skills and stay current with best practices in bilingual education. The role requires a commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for helping students succeed in a bilingual setting. The Champaign Unit 4 School District serves over 10,000 PreK-Young Adult students across 18 facilities, providing a vibrant and dynamic educational environment. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Elementary Bilingual (Spanish/English) Endorsement or ESL Endorsement.

Nice-to-haves
