About the position

The Director - Research Analyst at TD EPOCH is responsible for researching and analyzing companies to generate investment ideas within the framework of the Shareholder Yield equity strategy. This role involves working across various sectors and geographies, contributing to the firm's broader research efforts, and participating in marketing and client service activities. The position requires a strong background in fundamental equity research and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze companies to generate investment ideas for inclusion in Epoch's strategies.
• Contribute ideas to the firm's other strategies as appropriate.
• Generate and research investment ideas based on personal expertise and direction from portfolio managers.
• Participate in investment research meetings and collaborate with colleagues.
• Engage in marketing and client service activities, including presentations and meetings with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or CFA preferred.
• 10+ years of fundamental equity research experience.
• Demonstrated track record of success in assigned strategy, sector, or geography.
• Highly developed skill set in financial modeling and industry research.
• Ability to research investment ideas across various sectors and geographies.
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
• Leadership skills with potential for additional responsibilities.
