About the position

The TE Business Systems Analyst at HomeSafe Alliance plays a crucial role in managing and improving the Time and Expense systems used for processing labor and leave. This position involves collaboration with the Business Systems team to ensure the effective functioning of Deltek Time and Expense and Costpoint systems, while also providing training and support to users. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining documentation, evaluating new applications, and ensuring compliance with audit and security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of Deltek Time and Expense 10.x and Costpoint 8.x.
  • Work with other Business Systems team members to evaluate, escalate and resolve defects within Time & Expense.
  • Support upgrades, monthly releases and Pre-DSMs.
  • Perform training and best practices classes to improve skills for Time & Expense users and administrators.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including requirements, policies & procedures relating to Time and Expense.
  • Evaluate new applications, system requirements, developments by Deltek, and recommend appropriate solutions and alternatives based on evolving business needs.
  • Ensure that all processes are designed to meet SOX, audit and security requirements.
  • Process and compute weekly labor timesheets and leave.
  • Reconcile labor, leave and payroll files before sending to corporate labor team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2+ years of relevant business experience in Costpoint or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in government contracting is a must!
  • Strong knowledge of Time and Expense version 10.x, Costpoint 8.1.x and higher, Cognos 11.1.x and higher.
  • Working knowledge of front-end screens as well as back-end tables for Costpoint Time & Expense.
  • Experience with functional support for Costpoint and Deltek TE, including system upgrades, planning, design, SOX/Audits, and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax laws and the implementation of compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
