About The Position

The TENx10 Special Projects Lead is responsible for guiding the execution of the TENx10 Collaboration, a national discipleship movement aimed at making faith matter more for ten million young people over the next decade. This full-time role requires a project manager with strong initiative, judgment, and organizational skills to provide operational, relational, and administrative support to the Executive Director and the special projects team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • One to three years of project management and administrative experience, including event planning experience.
  • Proven ability to provide superb customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, with competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and high Internet proficiency.
  • Experience with Mailchimp and understanding of email marketing platform capabilities preferred.
  • Experience in customer relationship management, with Salesforce CRM software preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage pressing requests and situations.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • High attention to organization, deadlines, accuracy, and details.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software preferred.
  • Experience with Mailchimp and understanding of email marketing platform capabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned meetings and guide projects to completion.
  • Provide oversight to the special projects team.
  • Ensure that the projects have clear workflows and processes.
  • Manage information flow between relevant constituencies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare internal communications documents, including handouts and emails, to inform team members of important project developments.
  • Work with external vendors for outsourced services.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, send reminders, and ensure that all relevant and pertinent information is included in the notes for the meeting.
  • Organize gatherings and other events with TENx10 stakeholders, ensuring they run smoothly.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and all forms of communication in a warm, cordial, and professional manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records and organize a partnerships filing system.
  • Conduct research or manage research processes where needed and produce reports.
  • Support the Senior Director of Strategic Operations and provide oversight for staff events and care as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications.
  • Manage the calendar for the Executive Director, making appointments and prioritizing important matters.
  • Assist the Executive Director in preparing for meetings and take notes during meetings.
  • Arrange complex travel plans and perform minor accounting functions like reconciling receipts.
