About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Teacher for Secondary Grades 6-8, specializing in English Language Arts and Reading. The position is available immediately and will be based at our Middle School. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment and engaging students in the curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the curriculum requirements.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate certification for the position.
- Experience in teaching English Language Arts and Reading to middle school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
