Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of instructional materials.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of two years of experience working with children within the last five years.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English and the language of the targeted English Language Learners (ELLs).
• Sensitivity to other cultures and ability to work with diverse student populations.
• Computer skills and proficiency.

Nice-to-haves

• Successful completion of the Teacher Assisting Curriculum at a designated technical college.
• Passing score on the ParaPro Test or other sanctioned tests.

Benefits

• Hourly pay range of $16.00 - $21.91.
