About the position

Bambini Montessori Academy is seeking a dedicated Infant Teacher's Assistant to join their team. This role involves planning and presenting age-appropriate activities for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, ensuring a nurturing and educational environment. The position emphasizes the importance of professional development and teamwork in delivering a high-quality, inclusive childcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.
• Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities.
• Monitor and document children's progress and development.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 45 hours of Child Growth and Development training.
• 45 hours in Preschool Curriculum training.
• 45 hours Infant-Toddler Certificate training.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility or 30 college credits.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various stages of social, emotional, and intellectual development.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach, carry, and lift 50 lbs.
