The Teacher Assistant-SIPPS Tutor position at Endeavour Elementary involves supporting the teacher in conducting classes under the supervision of the principal or another supervisor. The role includes preparing class materials, correcting assignments, and providing various forms of assistance to enhance the learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with the conduct of a class.
• Prepare class materials for lessons.
• Correct and record assignments.
• Provide a variety of other services to support classroom activities.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience.
• The equivalent of two years (48 semester hours) full-time education at an institution of higher education; or an associate's degree; or the ability to pass a Utah State Office of Education approved Para-Professional Test.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Secretarial/clerical skills, including the ability to operate a computer.
