About The Position
The Teacher Assistant for Special Education is responsible for providing instructional support to students with disabilities both inside and outside the classroom. This role involves assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP), which includes self-help, behavior management, and instructional programs. The Teacher Assistant works under the general supervision of the principal and the immediate direction of a certified teacher.
