About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young learners, providing assistance in classroom activities, and fostering positive relationships with students. This role is essential in helping educators implement lesson plans and manage classroom dynamics effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
• Support individual students or small groups to enhance their learning experiences.
• Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Monitor student behavior and assist with behavior management strategies.
• Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being during classroom activities.
• Engage with children through play, educational games, and hands-on activities.
• Communicate effectively with teachers regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Assist in preparing classroom materials and resources for various lessons.
• Participate in training sessions related to early childhood education and special education.

Requirements

• Previous experience in childcare or working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
• A genuine passion for educating young learners and supporting their developmental needs.
• Experience or training related to special education is an advantage.
