About the position
The Teacher Assistant position involves supporting the lead teacher in planning and executing daily activities for students. This role is essential in creating a conducive learning environment and assisting with various educational tasks throughout the school year, from August to May.
Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher in planning and implementing daily activities.
- Support students in their learning and development.
- Help maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Prepare materials and resources for lessons.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB test.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- CDA Credential or willingness to obtain one.
