The Teacher, Elementary - (2024-2025) Bilingual/Bicultural Spanish - Las Estrellas, 1st Grade position at Minneapolis Public Schools is designed for educators who are passionate about providing quality instruction to young learners. Collaboration with peers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies is expected, as well as regular assessment of students' developmental, cognitive, and social needs to provide appropriate instruction. The teacher will also engage with families to support educational decisions and utilize community resources to enhance learning outcomes. Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in Elementary Education.
- ACTFL assessment of Spanish proficiency or proof of pending approved licensure.
- Prior successful experience in student teaching or teaching in an urban, multicultural education setting.
- Demonstrated continued professional development through coursework, research, or peer collaboration.
Nice-to-haves
