About the position
The Teacher for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing position is designed for committed educators to support students with hearing issues in a school district that values inclusivity and effective communication. Responsibilities
- Create and follow special plans to help each student learn in the best way for them.
- Help students with hearing issues communicate effectively, using sign language, speech, or other tools.
- Work with other teachers, specialists, and families to support the students' learning and progress.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years of experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students.
- Master's Level Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students.
- Must hold an active State License in Deaf Education.
- State Teaching Certification and two years of school experience.
