Responsibilities

• Promote critical, creative, and evaluative thinking in students.
• Utilize instructional strategies that reflect students' diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Adhere to ethical standards and regulations in the education profession.
• Create a positive learning environment that supports students' intellectual and social development.
• Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and effective teaching practices.
• Establish a classroom management system that encourages student engagement and cooperation.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate effective instruction and assessment across various learning environments.
• Collaborate with peers, parents, and the community to enhance educational experiences for students.
• Integrate technology into teaching and learning processes.
• Complete required training for working with Limited English Proficient (LEP) students.
• Maintain accurate school records and prepare necessary reports.
• Account for school property and adhere to safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal.

Requirements

• Appropriate State of Florida certification.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
