The Clarke Schools for Hearing & Speech is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in providing exceptional educational services to children with hearing loss. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with hearing loss.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and specialists to support student learning.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust IEPs as needed.
  • Provide direct instruction in listening and spoken language skills.
  • Facilitate communication between students and their peers.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children with hearing loss or special needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Certification in Auditory-Verbal Therapy or similar.
  • Experience with assistive technology for hearing loss.
