About the position

As a Spanish Language Teacher at Legacy Traditional Schools, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education by instructing students in Spanish and guiding them towards fluency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You will create a classroom environment that cultivates learning, engages students' interests, and allows them to perform at their best. Utilizing direct instruction techniques, you will guide students through various activities that promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth necessary for primary school success. You will explore individual needs, provide side-by-side support, and develop personalized solutions tailored to each student's learning style and abilities. Mastering our proven curriculum, you will implement our educational philosophy and guide students towards achieving curriculum goals. Additionally, you will evaluate each student's learning capabilities, celebrate their accomplishments, and encourage them to uphold our values and model good character both in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Holding a bachelor's degree and a current teaching certificate in the state of the position.
  • Proven proficiency and experience in the subject of focus and specialty area.
  • Ability to create positive energy that fuels school spirit and engage with students, parents, and educators.
  • Passion for teaching and helping others learn, with a commitment to celebrating student success.
  • Ability to perform light lifting, sitting, standing, and moving throughout the campus as required.
  • Compliance with background check requirements as per state regulations.

  • Experience in teaching Spanish or related subjects.
