The Natick Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our innovative and supportive district. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the classroom and the provision of instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities. This includes the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), assessment, and curriculum design. The teacher will also supervise classroom staff and maintain ongoing communication with parents to ensure that student needs are met effectively. Collaboration with general education and special education teachers is essential to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and achievement. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting our diverse student population, which includes approximately 29% Students of Color and families that speak nearly 60 different languages. The position is full-time, requiring 183 workdays per school year, and reports directly to the Building Principal and the Director of Student Services. The starting date for this position is August 26, 2024, and the salary and benefits will be in accordance with the contract established with the Education Association of Natick Unit A.
