About the position

The Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for the SDC/ED/Mod Severe Engineering and Sciences program. This full-time position is designed for educators who are committed to providing high-quality instruction and support to students with moderate to severe disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education and a deep understanding of the unique needs of these students. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. Your role will involve assessing student progress, adapting curriculum materials, and utilizing various teaching strategies to engage students effectively. Requirements

  • Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Moderate/Severe (CLAD, LDS, SB 1969 or ELA required).
