About the position
Fort Lee Public Schools has an opening for a Special Education Teacher at the Intermediate School (5th & 6th grade) for the 2024-2025 School Year. This is a 10-month position on a tenure track, starting on September 1, 2024.
Requirements
- Must hold a NJ Teacher of Elementary School Grades K-6 or K-8
- Must hold NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification or Teacher of the Handicap
- Experience working with elementary and special needs students
- Experience working in an inclusion setting
- Knowledge of NJSLS
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Benefits
