About the position

The St. Landry Parish School Board is seeking a dedicated and qualified Classroom Teacher for Regular Education/Special Education/Librarian roles. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate (Type C or Level 1) and possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. In addition to planning and preparation, the teacher will utilize effective questioning and discussion techniques to deepen student understanding. Assessment is a key component of the instructional process, and the teacher will monitor student learning through various techniques, providing timely feedback and guidance.
