About the position

Medway Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the position of Teacher for World Language, specifically Spanish, for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE) that will involve teaching Spanish to high school and middle school students at Medway High School and Medway Middle School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters students' language acquisition and cultural understanding. The successful candidate will develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. They will utilize various teaching methods and resources to enhance student learning and engagement, including technology integration and interactive activities. The teacher will also assess student progress and provide feedback to help students improve their language skills. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in professional development opportunities will be essential to ensure continuous improvement in teaching practices. Additionally, the teacher will be expected to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, fostering a positive school community. They will also participate in school events and contribute to the overall mission of Medway Public Schools to provide a high-quality education for all students.
