About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team at Pooh Bear'z MK#3 Childcare Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic growth through innovative lesson planning and effective curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to various learning styles.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Facilitate classroom discussions that promote critical thinking and literacy education.
• Provide tutoring support to students who require additional assistance in subjects such as Math and Physical Education.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices in teaching.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance and classroom activities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong background in lesson planning and curriculum development is essential.
• Familiarity with childcare practices and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
• Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support in subjects such as Math or Literacy education is highly desirable.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning among students.
