About The Position
The Special Education Teacher is responsible for designing and providing specially designed instruction for special education students with diverse learning needs. This position requires expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and utilizing evidence-based teaching strategies to address the academic, social/emotional, behavioral, and adaptive needs of students with disabilities. The Special Education Teacher collaborates closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support and to facilitate the successful inclusion of students in the general education classroom.
