About The Position
As a member of the instructional team, the Teacher is responsible for the daily instructional delivery of curriculum, assessment, and classroom management that aligns with the school's vision, mission, and values while also meeting state and national academic standards. The role will be responsible to understand and demonstrate the importance of effective communication with students, school personnel, and parents. The Teacher regularly meets with students to advise and plan for students individual learning plans, providing coaching and mentoring in an advisory capacity. The Teacher works as a part of the instructional team in order to meet the needs of all students. Because building relationships is a critical component of this learning environment, the team works together to identify student needs that may be barriers to success. Teachers collaborate with team members to analyze different means of meeting student needs and communicates with students, parents, and other team members about student progress and plans for next steps.
