About the position

The Team Assistant II position at CRC Insurance Services, Inc. is a vital role focused on managing the servicing of new and renewal insurance accounts. This position requires a proactive approach to prevent issues and ensure high-quality service to agents and companies. The role involves evaluating policies, handling invoicing, and maintaining documentation, all while fostering strong relationships with carriers and agents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, etc., resolve discrepancies and make changes as needed.
• Handle rating of new business and renewals.
• Review and process policy servicing requests (endorsement, audits, Company requests, Certificates, Premium Finance Notices and Cancellations, etc.).
• Manage file and account documentation.
• Invoice and process new business and renewal binders, premium bearing endorsements, and cancellations according to internal and carrier guidelines.
• Establish New Submissions in the clearance system and handle according to established procedures.
• Produce cancellation and non-renewal notices according to statutory and contractual requirements.
• Manage underwriting files on accounts in which policies are not issued and handle according to Company and internal established procedures.
• Maintain pending/suspense system per established procedures.
• Maintain account files in accordance with company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Five years of wholesale insurance experience.
• State specific Insurance License.
• Ability to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies.
• Ability to read, understand and apply carrier guidelines for underwriting.
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating.
• Ability to use carrier software.
• Ability to develop, foster, and maintain an excellent working relationship with carriers and agents.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
